Fresh Start!

Hello friends,

I am excited to introduce myself. My name is Ben Sheets, and I am the new owner and editor of Full Cry Magazine! Some of you may be familiar with me and my work. I have been a regular contributor to Full Cry for several years now. I also own Tree Talkin' Media, which includes my photography and videography as well as my weekly podcast, Tree Talkin' Time. Like many others, my interest was piqued by Where the Red Fern Grows. Then, between an article on cur dogs in Outdoor Life and the many forums of the day, most of my youth was spent dreaming of following these dogs.  I have officially been involved with tree dogs since I was 18, when I finally got to squirrel hunt behind a Mountain Feist. Today I mainly coon hunt and own several American Leopard Hounds and Leopard Hound crosses. One of my main goals with purchasing Full Cry is to see this magazine preserved for future generations. I have 2 sons and my wife, and I are expecting our third in a few months. I want these boys to grow up reading about the adventures of fellow tree dog men and women across the country. I hope you will subscribe and maybe even contribute to this wonderful magazine!
